Product is unreliable, just don't buy it.

For your information, the router that I have is the 4th iteration, which is the Archer C20 (RU) v4. I decided to purchase after reading the reviews you provided. Mareket. In vain. The strength of the signal is lower than the plinth. The speed was measured in the hallway (the adjacent room) with the doors open. The router is located on the bedside table that is in the hallway. In point of fact, that is what we refer to as direct visibility. The strength of the signal does not even come close to reaching -60 dBm. In most cases, I keep my mouth shut when it comes to the other room. Only by bringing the phone within 20 centimeters of the antennas will you be able to achieve a signal of -30 dBm. Meryl using a pair of distinct instruments (Android and iOs). The network in question operates at a frequency of 2.4 GHz. Note the second signal in the screenshot; this is the signal coming from the neighbor's router, which is hidden behind the wall of concrete. Pay attention to this signal. Firmware version 0.9.1 32022 v0283.0 Build 170315 Rel.39481n. The most recent information available as of January 02, 2022. At least not at this time, there is no third-party firmware available for version 4. Unless there is an alternate firmware available, I would not recommend taking.

Pros
  • It is simple to assemble. Operates in both the 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency ranges. If the laptop is less than a meter away from the wireless router, the connection speed is almost unaffected.
Cons
  • Low signal level.
