I use macOS Catalina on my 27-inch iMac, which I use to hold several Zoom meetings each week. I took this webcam out of the box, installed it, plugged it into my iMac, plugged it into a USB port and selected Zoom. It was very easy to set up. No drivers had to be installed, no settings had to be made. I've found that in this case, I can usually fix the problem by holding my hand in front of the lens for a few seconds. When I take my hand away, the image is normal (not overexposed).
