Review on Car seat group 1 (9-18 kg) Maxi-Cosi Tobi, authentic graphite by Adam Rymko ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

We have been using this chair for a year, now our daughter is already two, height 86, weight 11 kg, it fits perfectly, including in winter clothes, but she is not large either. I drove my nephew, more than three years old, about 100 cm tall, already back to back. But the duration of use was not a priority when choosing a car seat, they focused on the safety and comfort of the child. And the child feels just fine in it, sleeps very soundly, his head does not hang out. During wakefulness, everything is also fine, he sits, stares around. The nephew, by the way, is a rather capricious guy, he was also pleased with the trip, almost immediately "passed out". We took our daughter several times for long distances, the whole day in the chair almost without getting out, we were very worried before the first trip, but everything went off with a bang. In general, we are very satisfied with the chair, we recommend it. And no one is immune from breakdowns and shortcomings, that's how lucky. But it certainly inspires confidence.

Pros
  • Very child-friendly and ergonomic chair. High landing, i. E. good review for the little one. Sufficient inclination of the backrest in the "sleep" position. Installs quite quickly and easily. It is fixed in the car very firmly, does not play.
Cons
  • After six months of use, the lock of the internal seat belts began to "fail", when fastening, you have to keep the release button pressed, otherwise you will not fasten it. After a year of use, the belt tension system began to jam, it is very difficult to loosen them. Once they jammed completely, they did not go in any direction. I was already about to take it to the service, but first I decided to remove the cover completely, tugged it, tugged it, and it seemed to go. In the service, they told me that most likely all these problems can be solved by simply lubricating the mechanisms, you need to gather your strength and get to them. In the meantime, you have to recline the chair in a "sleepy" position and pull these belts from behind, behind the back.
