Just what we wanted

This is a blood pressure cuff we've used before and wanted the same thing. Because the gauge and bulb are attached, it's easier to use than trying to juggle the two separate hoses. Packaging is deceiving: It depicts a traditional two-tube sphyg. We had to open the box to make sure we got what we wanted.

Pros
  • FEATURE RICH: Luminescent dial and extended graduation marks for easy reading in all light conditions and from virtually any angle; integrated bulb and valve for one-handed convenience; metal bayonet connector for rapid and secure cuff connection; includes leatherette carrying case
Cons
  • Not user-friendly

Top quality! good for me

Third time is a charm! I absolutely love the ease of use of this manual BP cuff. I tried two others and were not happy at all! I am a front line worker and use this frequently throughout my day. The best!

Pros
  • Professional Medical Supplies
Cons
  • Expensive

Great product, easy to use, acurate and cost effective.

This is the second one of these I have purchased. The first went out of calibration, so I sent it back to the company and got it recalibrated and now have a spare. This is a very easy to use, accurate, and simple instrument handy for EMS where you need two hands most times. The only drawback is the connector is very fragile in the cold and will break if you aren't careful. Otherwise, a great product well worth the investment.

Pros
  • ACCURATE: Revolutionary palm manometer with integral latex-free bulb and trigger-style air release valve for one-handed convenience exceeds ANSI/AAMI/ISO 81060-1 specifications for accuracy and is backed by a lifetime calibration warranty
Cons
  • Hard to read the results

Doesn’t last - my new review

I’ve had this BP cuff for 3 months, Using it almost daily. I was very pleased with it at first BUT this week it just stopped working! I can’t find a whole in tubing or where it may have disconnected. Very disappointed I spent $75 on a BP cuff that only lasted 3 months!

Pros
  • Love that this updated BP cuff has positive lock on the cuff!
Cons
  • The seam of the bladder popped after less than six months of use. Not worth the price.

simplified BP cuff is better

The trigger mechanism is easy to get used to and I like the single tube design. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the plastic over the dial seems to pick up the glare from almost any angle, which makes it hard to read in the 160s to 190's range.

Pros
  • The ADC 703-11AV Diagnostix Aneroid Sphygmomanometer is a reliable instrument for measuring blood pressure
Cons
  • Requires extensive training to use

This is an awesome blood pressure cuff

This is an awesome blood pressure cuff. The pressure gauge is always in an easy to see place. I also like that you came switch out the sizes. I use it in Nursing and it works great. I also think it would work great in EMS.

Pros
  • The sphygmomanometer is durable enough to withstand frequent use, ensuring long-term value
Cons
  • Uncomfortable to use for both patients and healthcare professionals

Great investment on my review.

I bought this to check my dog's blood pressure. It's made of plastic and probably won't survive a lot of abuse, but this is inexpensive and perfect for checking my dog's blood pressure at home. Saves me the $45-65 per BP check at the vet, so it's already been paid for. This, coupled with an inexpensive yet perfectly functional doppler off of eBay, and both devices have already paid for themselves. a few times over.I wouldn't hesitate to buy again if needed, say, for human children.

Pros
  • The instrument is backed by a comprehensive warranty, providing peace of mind for buyers
Cons
  • Limited customization options

Great product. Works perfectly

Great product. Works perfectly, very accurate and easy to use.Bought it about 2 years ago.The warranty and customer service is amazing. I had to send it to get it recalibrated and got a ADC's Medicut™ Shears for free when they sent it back. Everything was free.

Pros
  • PRECISE: Adflow trigger valve allows infinitely controlled deflation and ambidextrous use; filter screen protected check valve
Cons
  • Unreliable accuracy

Simple use - my new review

I purchased this for work because the one I have is old, this was a good purchase. It’s easy to take vitals now without all the hassle it’s light weight and easy use.

Pros
  • The sphygmomanometer includes a latex-free inflation system, minimizing the risk of allergic reactions
Cons
  • Takes up too much space

Great product good for me

This stethoscope works very well. I had the same in a different color for years & it finally had its last day. This one has worked as well if not better. The numbers are large enough to read. It holds air well & releases very smoothly. I'm sure I'll have this one for years as well.

Pros
  • The gauge is easy to read, even in dimly lit environments
Cons
  • Not accurate enough for medical use

I read the other reviewers complaining about it being plastic and thought "hmm I don’t really care about that as long as it works” well, the plastic does feel very cheap. I mean surprisingly so. The trigger button the release the pressure in the cuff is plastic as well and rattles a bit. I mean it just feels so cheap that I really didn’t expect it to work. However, it does work. Although I’m wondering now for how long. Get it if you like the idea of a trigger release. But beware of build…

Pros
  • It is backed by the reputation of ADC, a trusted name in medical equipment
Cons
  • Difficult to clean

Couldn't imagine going back to a standard one

I've used this BP cuff so long, I probably wouldn't be able to use a standard one.Pros:The color, I purchased the green one because I didn't want it stolen. I've left it in my ambulance many times and I can spot it right away.Ease of use due to only one tube with the dial on the handle.Great customer service (see con)Con:The connection between the cuff and the tube is kind of cheap. However, I called the company and they fixed it for me and sent me another replacement piece.

Pros
  • Sphygmomanometers
Cons
  • Limited functionality

Bad engineering! good for me

I work as a paramedic and recently broke my basic BP cuff after 4 years of use. I bought this cuff due to it being smaller and easier to use. It's is both of those things but its fatal flaw comes in where the cuff tube mounts to the pump handle. The tube has a small, plastic nipple that is pressure fitted into a plastic hole in the handle. The nipple is very thin and only goes in about half way. This pressure fit of a 1/8 inch nipple is all that connects the cuff to the pump handle. I do not…

Pros
  • The instrument is user-friendly, with clear instructions for use included
Cons
  • Bulky and difficult to store

I had a B/P cuff like this where I used to work and I love not having 2 pieces to worry about. I really like the squeeze handle and it pumps up nicely. I am a little concerned about how long the plastic fitting will last but we will see.

Pros
  • It is designed to be comfortable for patients, minimizing discomfort during blood pressure readings
Cons
  • Can cause skin irritation and soreness

Issues done the road

3 years down the road, the tube broke and replaced and now there is a leak in the cuff that needs to be replaced! The color may not be suitable for all healthcare settings.

Pros
  • The ADC 703-11AV is built to last, with strong materials and careful attention to detail
Cons
  • The color may not be suitable for all healthcare settings

So easy to use good for me

Bought as a gift for sister who's a doc. She's also left-handed and many one-handed sphygmo.that I looked at did not seem to be easily used with either hand. She tried it out and was very happy with how easy it was to use. She particularly liked that you can slowly release the pressure with the button or release all at once. Don't know about accuracy yet, only used a handful of times.

Pros
  • The instrument is designed to be easy to use with one hand, making it ideal for busy medical professionals
Cons
  • Not adjustable for individual needs and preferences

Love Love Love this cuff!

This blood pressure cuff is extremely light, and easy to use. It is really quiet when pumping, and releasing so you concentrate on what you hear with the stethoscope. There is no sticking of the valve since there is a trigger. The trigger is extremely easy to use. It is isn't bulky. There is no tangling of the tubing. I am a nursing student and my instructor even fell in love with this cuff. It is definitely worth the money!

Pros
  • The ADCuff Cuff is designed to be easy to apply, even for those with limited mobility or hand strength
Cons
  • Requires frequent battery replacements
