Aluminum Alloy Laptop Camera Cover (2 Pack) Review

Great little cover. We wanted something more durable than plastic lids that break and have weak adhesive. However, this little guy was difficult to put on because the paper covering the glue wouldn't come off. Wow! But once it worked. Otherwise no problem.

This is a sleek, clean way to hide the camera. The hole is much bigger than other cheap models. Let's see if it lasts longer than a few weeks. My only suggestion is that it should open to the left so the slide doesn't cover the camera view. I installed mine upside down - easy fix. (meaning the logo is upside down - no big deal) Would I buy again.

I have these on Dell XPS 13 and on HP. With all the conference calls we all have these days, it's nice to have a mechanical camera cover. They are well made and the camera cutout is wide and long enough for my laptop cameras and other sensors. However, the adhesive seems to allow them to slide a bit across the screen after a few weeks. I'd probably buy others if I had to do it again as I'm not sure how long they will last if I have to press them 1/8th of an inch fairly regularly.

Pretty nice little sliding door. That's less than you would expect from the photos. The problem with the Surface Pro is that it has a row of FOUR holes next to each other at the top, from the camera lens to the ambient light sensor (?), the camera on indicator and the microphone hole. I bought this camera case for my niece's iPad. Definitely holds up well and doesn't slip. Opening the door was difficult at first. I'm worried about how hard it will be for my niece, but I think it's not the worst thing in the world if she has to ask for help with a webcam. Update: my mom said my niece was a little upset. first tried to open it and use the webcam but she got the hang of it.

As the title suggests, this is pretty hard to screw up. Before sticking the glue, make sure you don't cover the entire opening of the camera, otherwise line up the hole with the hole, remove the tape and stick it on. Exactly as described and very thin. Important note: Please do not close the lid of your laptop while using this application. It will mess up your trackpad. Only close the laptop lid when your computer is off. Putting your laptop to sleep and then closing the lid will mess up your trackpad. With an external webcam cover, you get some privacy at the expense of some convenience. Although it doesn't really matter. Once removed, this webcam cover cannot be reattached as it will lose its attachment.

Ugly, but works. I cut it out. So this works for a wide iPhone with multiple cameras and will do if you can pull it off. It's long but you don't really need the length of the slide to cover enough area to provide privacy. These camera bags work very well. They are easy to install and easy to open and close. My only suggestion is to place them directly on the screen of your iPad or phone; Do this with the camera on and the lid open to see your position from the camera lens (selfie). This saves you from having to slide the cover around once the sticky surface touches your device. Otherwise, the conversion proves to be a bit tricky.
