these get a mixed review

I bought them in July for a backpacking trip that turned out cloudy and rainy so wore them maybe 2-3 days. They got throw in my sunglass holder in my truck and I wore them maybe another 3-4 times before today when I went to go unclip them and the clip flew apart and all the various pieces went flying to the floor. They were great for the few times I used them but even for $10 I expect more than 7 uses out of them before they implode. I tried putting the clip back on but pretty sure I am missing

Pros
  • Perfecto para lo que pensaba
Cons
  • Pretty dark.

Good product that works well

The product performed well. The clips held the shades in place. Cost is a little high (minus 1 star). But if it is made in USA then I'll update it and turn it into 5 stars.

Pros
  • looks nice
Cons
  • Poor clip quality. The clip is broken off in the first day of wearing!

Okay, so at first the sunglasses were really good, cool appearance and easy to put on. After 2 weeks, the clipper became a pain in the ass… the components sometimes separate apart! When you flip it up! I tried to fix it several times and eventually I lost the components when they broke while I m walking in Bart station…

Pros
  • Good
Cons
  • they keep breaking off the hinge not happy with thses

great sunglasses good for me

This product was delivered quickly and they work great. They are a little larger than my glasses so I feel protect my eyes a little more

Pros
  • Very good light filter, helps my eyes rest
Cons
  • Bad for strong sunshine. Compared to its cheap price, not bad.

Poor performance in California sunlight

Poor performance in California sunlight; lots of glare. Isn't that why you would get sunglasses, so you don't have glare? Blue coating on lens is already coming off after a week of medium use. Trashing these 'cause I value my eyes

Pros
  • Nothing to dislike about these clip on sunglasses!!!
Cons
  • Delicate. Sun light encroaches from corners and top -- disconcerting.

Nice product. - my new review

I loved these, Didn't fit as well as some clip-ons I've had but "Cool Looking". Grandson felt grappa was a little too cool in these at age 70.

Pros
  • great deal
Cons
  • The flip-up mechanism can cause the glasses to become unbalanced on your face

flip-up sunglasses on my review.

My everyday glasses are "transitions" perfect out of doors, but useless when driving. these make the sunshine tolerable, and can flip up when not needed

Pros
  • Functions great, lightweight, looks great and can't beat the price!
Cons
  • The flip-up mechanism doesn't work smoothly and requires a bit of force to open

Best money under 10 bucks I have ever spent

Best money under 10 bucks I have ever spent. I bought these specifically for driving. I know clip-ons went out of style before I was born (I'm a millennial), but if you need prescription glasses these are a treat. Who cares what you look like in your car? You can see the road without having to squint. Consider this 10 bucks to make the roads for yourself quite a bit safer. They seem sturdy enough. Also, yes they are telling the truth. These are polarized.Pros:PolarizedCould save your lifeThey…

Pros
  • Works well cool looking!
Cons
  • The glasses can be difficult to clean properly and attract fingerprints easily

Not quite enough peripheral vision coverage

With how far in front of my glasses these end up, they need more peripheral coverage than traditional sunglasses, which these don't provide. The end result is I get enough light in from the sides of my glasses to get my pupils to adjust to high brightness, and then I can barely see through the shades.

Pros
  • Love them!
Cons
  • The clip-on design can feel cumbersome and make your glasses feel heavier

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Poorly designed - my new review

Shades are the same size as the glasses but the frames are designed poorly causing them to fit incorrectly. Thanks for attention!

Pros
  • nice!
Cons
  • The clip-on mechanism can leave marks or scratches on your prescription glasses

Serious Geek Factor but they work really, really well.

Best deal in town. I had $400 prescription glasses, but when I entered and re-entered shaded places I found myself taking off my glasses and replacing them with my regular glasses. Too fussy. These are great. I just flip them up and down. Sure, they have a serious Geek factor, but f**k it. They work very well and clean up with some dishwashing detergent.

Pros
  • Wonderful
Cons
  • The frame size is limited and may not fit larger face shapes comfortably

Works very well ! best in my review

So great !I should use prescribed glassed all the time, so I cannot use regular sunglasses. I bought this one to attach it onto my glasses. It works very well. The great thing of this one is the spring handle which is supposed to open and release rubber holder. It's really convenient.I put this one underneath of sun visor in my car.

Pros
  • Very good
Cons
  • The retro design may not be suitable for formal or professional occasions

easy and convenient

it is very easy to use and convenient to carry with, good quality. I bring it with me during my trip on mountains, and works well.

Pros
  • Just the right size for the clip on use. Lens color was what I expected when I made the purchase.
Cons
  • the Rubber fall off...

Fell apart first time they were used. Very poor construction. First time I've purchased anything this bad from Walmart.

Pros
  • Really neat looking. Fit very well, and work well, keeping out the glare.
Cons
  • The polarized lenses don't provide enough UV protection and can strain your eyes in bright sunlight

Glare still a problem.

I like the blue mirror effect but the glare was as bad as my original flip-up sunglasses. If glare is a problem I suggest Sunclassy Anti Glare Polarized Flip up Sunglasses.

Pros
  • I would recommend these
Cons
  • The clip-on mechanism broke apart on the first attempt to use it.

Quality 5 star good for me

Here in Hawaii the sun is bright. These block out 99% plus, glare and those sudden flashes off windshields! Flip-ups are great for golf!

Pros
  • Work well, nice that they are Polarized.
Cons
  • fell apart after one use

Great clairity best in my review

Work great in bright sunlight. I wish they were not quite so curved. The sun light sneaks in from the sides. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • When I driving the sunlight was too bright for my eyes , but now I'm enjoy driving with these this.
Cons
  • The plastic frame feels flimsy and cheap

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Cool (not so much),but ok.for cheap.

The flip-up/down feature works ok, but they could be darker, the clip-on feature also functions well enough, but the clip itself kinda destroys any "coolness" factor. still it's better than having to remove and put away my clip-on that doesn't flip, and at a small fraction of the cost.

Pros
  • Like everything about the product
Cons
  • Cheaply made

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Picture is exactly what the product looks like.

I bought these because I always loose my prescription sunglasses, and I'm tired of trying to fit a pair of normal sunglasses over my regular eyeglasses. These work great! They clip on the front and the clips aren't really visible in my field of vision. The blue is really awesome looking and I love the mirror effect on them. The lenses are about 2.5 inches wide and 1.75 inches in height. The only minor gripe I have is the lenses will pick up finger prints like no tomorrow. So remember to only…

Pros
  • Great product! Lightweight and comfortable.
Cons
  • The polarized lenses can distort colors and affect the clarity of your vision
