It is so beautiful! for men

I bought these to keep my feet warm this winter and I fell in love with them. They fit so well and they don't look like the regular wool socks I had. They are very, very soft and don't slide off your shins like my other winter socks. They're also not as thick as some of the winter socks I've had, but they're just as warm and fit a lot better. If you're looking for really good socks and aren't afraid to go broke to buy them, buy them. This is the best combination of fit and warmth I've found. I…

The thickest version of the Darn Tough except for the mountaineering sock.

These are the thickest and heaviest socks you can buy aside from their mountaineering socks. This fact was a bit difficult to understand and I had to read several places on the internet to find out this fact. I didn't want climbing socks because they sit so high on the foot. You are perfect. Thicker than their other socks with padding all around. Like all Darn Tough socks, I wouldn't call them chunky. I have bulkier wool socks from other brands. One nice detail I noticed about the Darn Tough…

Darn Tough, FITS and Fox River Socks are great, forget the Smart Wool.

I bought these socks because of their lifetime guarantee, not because I would likely return them if there was a problem after reasonable wear, but because it was a testament to the company's confidence in their product. The solution turned out to be successful, after two wonderful years they are just getting old. By the way, I also recently bought similar socks from SmartWool, they shrunk a little after a single wash in cold water (same wash and dry with my DarnTough and FITS socks), but enough

    These are not good socks

I've been hiking since my time in the US Marine Corps for over thirty years so I appreciate the advances and advances in technical outdoor gear - we introduced cotton socks and t-shirts in the 80's! So I'm always on the lookout for the best gear and based on so many rave reviews I thought this brand of socks would be an improvement over the SmartWool Merinos I've worn over the past few years. It just wasn't the case. Case in point: A few weeks ago I hiked in Yosemite, from the Glacier to…

Not hard. Just a marketing ploy!

Sorry but all the positive reviews are from people who have limited experience with these socks. The reality is that the name "Damn Cool" is just a marketing advertisement. See my photos. The design of these socks is imperfect and appears to be based on limiting manufacturing costs by using different weaves and materials for different areas, as opposed to socks that take a more uniform approach that is strong throughout. As you can see, certain areas, for example under the toes, can be called…

    Warranty void

I have bought these socks twice and they have lasted 1 year and 4 months each. I'm strict with socks. I'm happy with them and I like them. You feel good. Now for the guarantee. Well, it's "no question" but it's not perfect. For a $25 pair of socks, the warranty cost me $11, $5 for mail order socks, and $6 for a mailed replacement. They give you a code to use on their website for a free pair, which costs $6 to ship. And, of course, delivery to them is also paid for (5 dollars). That means my…

TEN STAR SOCKS Match Athletic Socks

I spent $200 on eight pairs of these Darn Tough style socks. My husband has worn them for YEARS. Haven't had to change yet. I put it in the wash and then dry it. I don't babysit her. These are socks, and if they are NOT EASY to wash, they don't fit me. These socks are easy to care for. Fits perfectly. The husband wears 10 2E shoes and has thin legs. I bought XL socks for him. You are perfect! My only complaint is not being able to buy these socks for my son who lives in Alaska. He wears size 10

Simply the best to fill my sock drawer.

I started with a pair of Darn Tough socks. Fast forward 6 months; Darn Tough socks are the only brand in my sock drawer. When I tell people about these socks, they act like they think I'm crazy because I'm into socks. Then I tell them the cost of each pair and how any sense of sanity they had in me has gone. I don't blame them, before trying on a pair of these socks I would have thought the same as I did then. But now I don't have a single pair of socks in my sock drawer that doesn't have the…

Can't recommend, socks fell apart after 2 socks. Shop elsewhere.

i hate to be rude to these because i really wanted them to please and they were comfortable when i put them on my feet. After hearing about these socks from a friend I took the bait and ordered a pair about 10 days ago and was dying to try them out. I wore them twice on short hikes (less than 4 miles each) and washed them on the gentle cycle and hung them out to dry after each wear. This is the same process I've used on countless other socks from many brands over the past few decades. Some of…
