Pricey, better than the Gen 1 version, but far from perfect.

I am using this with HP 810 G2. This is just an average. This is partly not a handle issue, but a general issue with Windows 8 and HP software. The stylus works most of the time, sometimes it is poorly fixed on the screen. The pen itself is mostly plastic and not very well made for the price. That precision just isn't there, and again, only part of that is the real problem with the stylus. All in all I would pass for the price. I love it when I just sit for a long time.

I like to spend a long time just sitting listening and taking notes, but I have to remove the battery and touch the nib to reset it to make it work with my HP tablet. It can be finicky or it can work perfectly. The battery removal/touch tip trick seems to work fine provided Windows 8 is stable and works fine on a desktop (which seems fine with my latest tablet). So this pen and others of the same model (there were 3 or 4 between two tablets) were problematic. I know how to work around the…

These pens were given to us when we started medical school to work on our HP laptops. Only about 1/2 of the students ever got a job. I've used mine as much as possible, but it fails frequently, regardless of battery life. If I took it apart and put it back together, it would sometimes work again. Battery life was terrible and even less reliable when the battery was left in the pen. I took mine out every time I'd used it just to keep it from completely draining. I really tried to use this pen.
