daughter loves it

My 2 year old daughter is obsessed with her wellies. In their opinion, this is the only shoe that can keep up. I've washed them twice and they wash great.

Pros
  • My 6 year old grandson can ruin a pair of sneakers in a week! So far they have lasted 5 months without holes!
Cons
  • The sling rubs uncomfortably on the leg

Great shoe for rough play

I bought these shoes as a backup for my son because I knew he would outgrow the school shoes and I needed a backup. You played great. They are very durable and after being worn by the strongest kid I know for several months they still look almost new.

Pros
  • I bought the purple pair for my 3 year old granddaughter who loves to go hiking with her parents. 💜
Cons
  • Size runs small

Not as wide as most Keens

These are cute, sturdy little shoes with a wider toe. The midfoot is slightly narrower and not as wide as most Keens shoes. I think it would be great for a child with a narrow to medium foot width.

Pros
  • The black and yellow color scheme is gender neutral.
Cons
  • Poor customer service from the manufacturer

Comfortable and great fit

These shoes fit my daughter perfectly, true to size. They are comfortable and have good treads. They seem to be good for every shoe from gaming to hiking. Relatives usually suit her, and these are no exception. They are easy to put on and take off yourself. The sole leaves no traces on the ground. My only criticism is the velcro and elastic closure. It is fully functional, but the elastic is not adjustable as usual.

Pros
  • Protects feet from sunburn and sand cuts
Cons
  • Tends to pick up small stones in shoes

Do not buy this model

I was a fan of pointy shoes, but the upper of THIS STYLE didn't last more than three months of use. Although the sole of the shoe is intact. Although they look cute, I do not recommend buying these shoes for children. I would try other hobbies if you like the brand like I do.

Pros
  • The padded insole offers maximum comfort on the go
Cons
  • Not suitable for rough terrain

Took less than 2 weeks

We spent the money on Keens because we knew they were good, durable and waterproof shoes for our very active boy. After a few days of wearing, the waterproof layer started to wrinkle and blister. After two weeks of wearing, we had holes. My kid loves the fit and style but I would never recommend these shoes. More than disappointed.

Pros
  • Toe protection prevents toe bruises and other injuries
Cons
  • Poor grip on rocky surfaces

Keanes convinced me

I buy sandals for my child - wide socks. Some of them (in my opinion) do not provide adequate protection from the cold. I was looking for another option, came across this one. My Ike-loving child is always wearing off the toes of his boots. This style shows promise. He loves her!

Pros
  • The adjustable Velcro closure allows for a custom fit
Cons
  • Difficult to put on and take off

Didn't take long - my new review

My son loves these shoes. He's on the Spectrum and has issues with most other shoes but loves this one. We received them in March and mostly wore them indoors. Unfortunately, they only started peeling off at the top after a few months. For the price and the brand I expected more.

Pros
  • The secure fit ensures that the sandals stay in place during activities
Cons
  • Limited sizes available

My rating is too small

I got the size my child needed from the size chart and unfortunately it was too small. I missed my return window so don't compare any other size. If we buy again, we would increase the size.

Pros
  • Really great trail running shoes, they were so comfortable and my kid loved them. Great grip on the bottom and actually dried well!
Cons
  • Tends to chafe and blister

Amazing supportive shoe.

I love these for my daughter for a day at the gym. Easy to put on. You have great support. It fits well, it has a high instep. I wish Karen would expand her offerings to children. Love her!

Pros
  • Perfect for kids who love to climb, run and play wildly
Cons
  • Not suitable for children with sensitive skin

I didn't like my rating at all.

Bought 29th August for grandson's birthday 16th October, on 13th January we noticed they were torn at the top of both shoes where the shoes flexed.

Pros
  • Holds up better than other shoes
Cons
  • Poor arch support

Fell apart after 3 months

My daughter loved the shoes but they fell apart within 3 months. As the material literally peels off, the seams come apart. Usage was normal. We're fans of cool shoes, but these are useless.

Pros
  • Ideal for summer activities such as hiking, camping and water sports
Cons
  • Not suitable for hot weather

Nice shoes but undecided on size

This is a good shoe for kids and looks good. The problem I always face when buying clothes for our grandchildren is size. Our oldest grandson is 8 years old, is he small or large? If you buy too small, there is nothing you can do. But if you buy too big, you can wait for them to grow into shoes. As I thought the little kids were 3 or 4 years old I ordered a size 2 for the bigger kids which turned out to be too long. When in doubt. I'm curious when he can wear them.

Pros
  • Ideal for children spending time in and out of the water
Cons
  • Soles begin to separate after minimal use

Nothing for children with wide feet

There's nothing wrong with the shoes themselves, but it's worth noting that they are sportier and narrower than other Keen shoes we've bought for my daughter. FYI, Keen Newport shoes/sandals fit a wider foot.

Pros
  • Built for function and style
Cons
  • No half size option

Looks, wears out and falls apart

Comfort and fit as expected. The upper part of the shoe fell off after two months. The strap has come loose, lots of scratches. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • Breathable materials keep feet cool and dry
Cons
  • Prone to slipping and sliding on wet surfaces

Disintegrated long before the baby grew out

They looked good at first but fell apart after a month of use. They were expensive and you would expect a lot more from a shoe in this price range. In addition, they are undersized

Pros
  • Fast-drying materials make this model the perfect shoe for the water.
Cons
  • Insufficient cushioning when running or jumping

Perfect for the active little man!

Best shoes we have found, my son loves to be outside be it riding his bike, running through muddy puddles, rock climbing; etc. His shoes are short-lived. They survived to tell the story and they persevered!

Pros
  • Provides excellent cushioning for active gaming.
Cons
  • No additional padding for more comfort

Velcro worn out in two weeks

I usually love KEEN products, I bought these shoes for my 8 year old and within 2 weeks the velcro came loose. I wanted to return it, but a month and a week have passed since the purchase.

Pros
  • Great walking shoes for kids! Well worth the money...very light weight and easy to put on.
Cons
  • Not suitable for high impact activities

Worn for 2 weeks then ripped.

It was amazing until it wasn't anymore. My daughter wore them for 2.5 weeks without any problems. He never got wet and never endured a tough day of play. The outer shell has come loose! For $50+ and Keens I expected more. Ooooh disappointed!

Pros
  • The black and yellow color scheme looks stylish and attractive.
Cons
  • Blistering after prolonged use in water

Ideal for children with sensory problems

My son has sensory issues and putting on shoes is a very traumatic part of our day. These shoes rock! He can put them on himself, which is a big win for me! He doesn't cry because they are "not feeling well". He loves these shoes! I'll just buy the next size up until he outgrows them completely. What a relief to find what pleases him!

Pros
  • Offers excellent support for a secure footing
Cons
  • No additional toe protection.
