Damn. It's Rusting!: Atomizers and Accessories

Really great features and some of the best I've ever used. BUT the fitting at the bottom of the paint canister is RUSTED and now the iron/rust microparticles are either clogging my tip or getting to the product. Really a shame, otherwise not a bad product.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • So-so

When I buy something brand new I wish it was brand new

I was a bit disappointed, started opening the box and smelled like paint thinner and there was what looked and felt like oil everywhere and scratches. It should be brand new but it's not, so I'm pretty sure it probably won't work

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly

High quality HVLP spray gun

This is a great product. I liked the ability to spray latex paint. The stainless steel nozzle and needle cleaned well and worked great every painting session. I painted an entire room full of bookshelves white. They turned out beautiful, better than expected. Great product for home use!

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Lots of accessories

perfect starting pistol.

Find a spray gun for spraying polyurethane. This is the weapon you need. I recently decided that I hate brushing my teeth at Paulie's. That's why I bought this gun to spray. Perfect! Dilute the oil by 2/3 and dilute by 1/3. water base is straight. Very easy to clean. 3 parts can all be removed for cleaning.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Non-Automatic

Excellent sprayer in the field of painting tools and equipment

Bought to spray clear resin expecting to be happy with purchase. I have several different sprayers including traditional paint spray guns, a single stage HVLP spray gun and another 2.5mm TCP HVLP spray gun. Both formulations have proven to be very easy to use, give good results and much less overspray than expected. Used a 2.5mm tip to spray PPG Breakthrough paint and the result was better than expected.

Does a great job spraying primer

This 18mm gun fires well. I was a little hesitant to buy this one as the reviews are quite mixed. I applied 4 coats of Evercoat Feather Fill G2 polyester primer which is very thick and had no problem with the gun. It's got quite a bit of crust, but I'll grind the block anyway. I flushed the gun with acetone between mixes, spraying about 1/2 liter each time. The fan pattern is wide enough. Very happy with the gun and the result.

Pros
  • The gun features a full impact head that allows it to produce a fully atomized and even spray pattern for a smooth, professional finish!
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Great bang for your buck

I used this gun to spray paint and vinyl sealer on chairs. There are no complaints about him. The adjustable air regulator was suspect, it didn't seem to be holding pressure and its adjustment didn't seem to work very well. Otherwise the gun is easy to disassemble, the lid on the bowl fits well but can be problematic. It sprayed fine but this was my first time spraying this type of liquid so maybe I got it wrong! The results were good. Even with the 1.8 tip, which I diluted to get a better…

Pros
  • Spray gun with rotary knobs for full control of spray pattern, fluid flow and air pressure. Includes a set of stainless steel needles and nozzles.
Cons
  • Nothing

Not what I expected but works as advertised.

Although I was playing the system when I bought this atomizer. From the pictures you can see it's from the same manufacturer as the $60 Harbor Freight sprayer I've been using almost daily for a few years. HF doesn't offer a gun with a larger tip, so I took a chance, it was the same manufacturer. Identical shape, controls, etc., except for the cup. I know it's hard to understand, but Harbor Freight Items are a good tool for the money, it's not that much. Fit and finish have nothing to do with an

Four stars and a word of caution, do not use on water-based paints

I have this sprayer 9 Months . For $40 it's a decent gun, it works well and the spray pattern is good. I also have a Devilbiss Starting Line spray gun kit. What is the difference? The TCP gun contains non-stainless steel parts inside which means it will rust internally if you use this gun to spray WATER BASED paints. Rust, if you don't take good care of it, will cause small patches of rust on the surface of the item being painted and this is a BIG problem, especially with paint colors like…
