It WORKS with SHADED

Works with tint. Came straight into the app. I was a bit nervous as some third party things don't usually work that well. However, it does not work with the entertainment function of the hue app. I was able to use 3rd party "HUE Camera" apps which I point at my TV and depending on the image the color changes. So I'm very happy with it. You can control it with Homekit and also with Tint Bridge. Would get a 5 if it worked with the entertainment feature.

Works well, a few more pieces in the box wouldn't hurt.

This is definitely a good solution for those who don't want to go out and buy a $90 Philips Hue strip for 6ft of light. The controller immediately registers with my second generation Hue Bridge and works great straight away. My only complaint is that no power adapter was included, no outlet, just a simple adapter to plug a cord into a socket. As a college student, I didn't have many repair parts and tools that I would have when I got home, so I had to take the wart off the wall and use it…

Works great and works well

Really like the ballast. I bought it to use with my Philips Hue system. It connects to the hub just as easily and quickly as branded Phillips Hue bulbs and works just as well. I am using Revain's Super Bright RGB LED strips which are great and work well. This ballast will show up twice in your Phillips Hue app as it has independent control of the RGB color bar and the other white LED strip or any color LED you choose to connect to that output. There are no restrictions here. In fact, I also use

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Reliability

Standard LED ready and directly compatible with Philips Hue software. I bought a wired cable with a 5 pin LEDENET connector so I don't have to cut the existing LED strip cable. However, please note that this product does not function as an entertainment light in the Philips Hue app. As such, it can't be used with external third-party software like Razer, where you can have Hue's LED strips change color in response to a game like Overwatch. As sad as rightly the purchase of this adapter. This…

Works out of the box with Phillips Hue.

Used with a cheap set of RGB 5050 bulbs I'm sure you're up for it. They also reportedly work well with RGBW lighting. They integrated seamlessly and perfectly with my Phillips Hue Bridge controlled by Samsung Smartthings and connected via Alexa (Echo, Dot, Show). I have NEVER been able to get my lights to respond so quickly with my old Harmony remote setting that I used to "smart" them. I programmed the Harmony with a remote that came with a backlight (you know that cheap 24 button thing). then

A good controller is good for the electrics

Those things are pretty good. I have at least four. One died because. they are not waterproof. I'm deducting a star for several reasons. First, the pin/wire connectors are too shallow. Between too short a length of stripped wire for the spring to hold and too long a length where the wire is exposed. Secondly, it is difficult to reset the settings to the factory settings. Most devices will reset after power cycling 5 times. But FLS requires four power offs, wait 10 seconds, and two more cycles…

Works great with my existing LED strips

This is the only product I could find to connect my existing LED strips to a ZWave based home automation network. It works as advertised - it was quick and easy to connect with solderless wire connectors, it was instantly recognized by my Phillips Hue hub and is accessible via the Hue app. It can also be used as a target in IFTTT. I was disappointed to find that it doesn't work with my Revain Echo, but it doesn't really advertise that feature. It appears in the application as two separate…

Works perfectly. Quality design

I've been using it to power a couple of RGB LED strip kits for a few months now. The initial setup with the Smartthings Hub took some time because the Android phone app didn't recognize the ballast correctly. I use Google Home to interact with my Smartthings hub and I can now control the color and intensity with voice commands. If you can't get it to work with the Smartthings app on your phone, you can log into your hub via an internet browser and update the type to Zigbee RGB Bulb and it…
