Review on 🎧 Enhanced Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 Headset: Optimize Your Audio Experience by Jacob Mayberry

Revainrating 4 out of 5

but the quality is very good for its price

I've had a total of 5 in the last 8 years. Sometimes one of the headphones or the mic stopped working (that's why I bought so many), but usually it was a mistake on my part (bent the mic too much or accidentally placed it on it). was very impressed with their sound quality. They don't compare to $200 headphones but the quality is very good for the price. Since they were made in the Vista days, they seem to have some minor issues with Windows 7+. Even if you turn the volume down to zero, you can still hear sound. If you quickly disconnect and reconnect them, the audio is sometimes louder than it should be. The last problem is usually resolved by restarting the computer. The mute button on the cable is very convenient. If someone enters my room, I can immediately turn off the sound so my Skype friends can't hear our conversation. The downside of the mute button is that it's too easy to press. So when the cable wiggles and the button hits the chair, the mic is sometimes accidentally muted. The best thing about them is how they feel. They're incredibly comfortable and you can adjust the length to make them looser or tighter. Despite the shortcomings listed, I like this headset because comfort, quality and price are a winning combination. My current pair lasted 3 years. So if you take good care of them, you shouldn't have too many problems.

Pros
  • fingers crossed
Cons
  • not as good as it says
