I have a nice little table outside that I can work at when it's nice outside along with a comfortable chair so that while I watch the birds come to my feeder, I can pick one and work up a watercolor. I'm no professional artist or anything even remotely close to one, but I do love practicing an art form that I enjoy - namely watercolor painting. I have a multi-feeder that also includes a bird bath so I do get quite a few different birds coming to visit, including hummingbirds for the nectar feeder. I do love just watching them, but as I watch, sometimes I will do a quick, light sketch and then get out the watercolor paint brushes (the all-in-one with ink in the brush's barrel) and create a watercolor with a fast-flying, tiny bird or even the woodpecker that comes for the grubs I've put out and others that visit the feeder and bird bath. This easel is extremely convenient to carry outside with everything I need inside, set it up and be ready to work up a nice watercolor. The only thing I could wish for would be the possibility of adding on a stand made for this easel so that if I want to take it with me and don't have a table/chair handy, I could set up a stand, place the easel on top and continue painting. I could see an expandable one with straps across one end that the easel could sit on (sort of like those little fold-up wooden clothes "lines" for drying indoors). Other than that, I like this sturdy little easel for practicing my watercolor artwork.
