Review on Arus Turkish Bathrobe XX Large Burgundy by Devin Lee

Comfy Friar Tuck Robe

I bought this to wear to my backyard hot tub in the cold Northeast winter weather. It's made from the thickest terrycloth material I've ever seen, hits almost to the ankles, fits well (I've gained 220 pounds and it still fits) and is surprisingly warm. It also appears to be well made and has held up well to multiple washes. I don't consider these shortcomings given my use of the robe, but things to note: It's very heavy (I wouldn't be surprised if it weighs over 10 pounds); sleeves are very wide and often impede the use of hands when worn; If you're heavy, this robe will make you look like Monk Take. The latter can be beneficial if your partner is in the Robin Hood or Maid Marian mood. Overall I'm very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone who needs a very warm bathrobe to wear outside in winter for example. I suspect a home with modern HVAC systems will be too warm, but this can be a good option if your home is drafty or poorly heated.
