durable shoes; felt supported, but especially on my left foot, there was a lot of sock-on-soles rubbing and multiple rashes, blisters, and hot spots while running, especially after completing the last 5-6 miles of my long runs (Run the I bought shoes for). I would recommend more for shorter easy runs but after about 8-12 miles they become uncomfortable. It could be a personal issue with my step or something, but it's something to keep in mind.
