I had to do a little research to make sure my SSD was M-Key compatible and to make sure the USB was right for my existing computer to boot my data. I went to 2 companies to try and fix my hard drive. Each is listed at $2000+. I broke open my Microsoft Pro Surface 4 with a hammer, screwdriver and wooden spoon, pulled out the SSD, plugged it into this adapter and got all my files back in minutes! I was so happy I almost cried.
