Review on CRAFTSMAN 3/8-Inch Air Ratchet Wrench CMXPTSG1007NB, Red by Ronald Ingram

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great ratchet and works well with my compressor. Weighs in at 2.5 lbs. No attachments included

I was kind of surprised by how hefty this ratchet is, but that isn't to say it's heavy. It weights 2 lbs and 7 ounces so it's really close to 2.5 lbs. Kind of hefty to be lugging it around for any length of time, but not so bad that you can't stand to hold it for a spell and get work done.It doesn't include any attachments, but they can be gotten separately or use any brand you already have. I have a collection and this thing makes use so much easier and smooth. The grips on this feel great and the trigger is sensitive enough that I don't feel like I have to really hammer down to hold it in while working. This little ratchet gets around 180 rotations per minute and runs at 90 PSI. It has a noise reducing muffler, but I still wear ear protection. It is noticeably quiet over my old Central Pneumatic one from Harbor Freight. The way the trigger and comfort grips are, it's super easy to switch this from righty to lefty. In use, the speed variation isn't much but I have a regulator that really helps. No issues with leaking and everything moves smoothly. I can flip it backwards and forwards smoothly and the only real negative is that the trigger is a little cheap feeling. It works just fine, but it just doesn't seem oomphy and sturdy like the rest of the tool. Still, moderately priced and a good value from Craftsman. I'll keep it oiled up and in a case and it should last me.
