DO NOT PROVIDE! Suitable for webcams

I was looking for a webcam. One that really works. On the advice of a friend I upgraded, not the same as hers but still the same brand. Double the money I spent hoping to finally find something good. Guess what. He arrived today. I've been trying to get this to work. There is no joy. The computer doesn't recognize it, it just doesn't appear. I've tried various ways to find it (by plugging it into different USB ports) to no avail. It's just invisible. So I watch tutorial videos on YouTube saying to go to the Logitech website and download the drivers for this camera (why?). I go to the Logitech website. I look at manuals and guides. very little in English, mostly in Chinese, which is completely incomprehensible to me. . How about just typing in the Logitech webcam drivers? Let us try it. so i go And I'm watching. I can't find drivers for C920x. There are drivers for C920 and C920 but not for this one. I know, I thought, let's just grab the C920 drivers and move on. Around the house on the Logitech website. The only option it will give me is to download GHub, which as far as I can tell is mostly for gaming. Anyway I upload it. He wants me to do all sorts of things like register me (including name, email address, etc.) and allow them access to my computer and share my information with them, as well as share my gaming experience with others. , online. This thing won't let me proceed until I agree. But I don't want to agree. I just want a camera like this so it works when plugged in. I don't want to talk about registering and "sharing" anything that has absolutely nothing to do with them or anyone else. So. It's just another expensive paperweight. It's boxed, sealed and shipped straight to where it came from tomorrow (well, today, not the 11th). Chinese crap, very disappointing.
