Writing this review to help others who made the mistake of changing the resolution after setting up this device on Arcade1up Gen 3 screen only to get a white death screen. Though my board was burning and stuck on this white screen after changing the resolution, but there is a solution. Here's how I did it: If you have a Windows PC and an HDMI output, set the resolution to 1024 x 768 on your computer, then connect your computer directly to the HDMI input of this device and you should have a picture you can go to in the control board menu and do a "resetβ. This fixed mine, but after I said I wanted to change the resolution, the image was a bit out of range. I'm not sure if this is the correct control board for what I needed to start with, but it's not a device fault. I've ordered another one at a standard resolution better suited to the project and screen I'm creating in hopes that this will fix the underlying issue. I hope this review will help others avoid the panic I found myself in after my project was 99% complete, only to make a small change in settings that will leave you spending hours wondering what to do is to fix it. .
