It lights up - good monitor, but important functions are missing

I don't write many reviews but this one should help people. The biggest biggest problem. THIS SCREEN WILL LIGHT UP. I bought this monitor as a replacement. The price was right and it was the same size. I replaced my bad monitor with this one, made a few adjustments and it was done. I've been using the same Microsoft wallpaper for ten years. Never had a problem. About 2 weeks later I was in Photoshop and noticed the desktop background in PS. For some reason I thought PS had some sort of translucent option enabled or something. No, I noticed that with every app. I managed to remove most of the burning with YouTube's Pixel Stimulator. I changed my desktop to something very dark. Then, a few days later, I'm noticing the same problem with some text documents that have been sitting on my desktop for years. The white papers are burned. I tried again to fix it as best as I could. I had to install different programs to keep the monitor from burning out, and also swap all the cables. I currently have a program that makes my desktop icons disappear in 20 seconds and a program that causes pixel stimulation for 2 seconds every few hours. I ended up contacting the RMA and they said they would replace the monitor but that shouldn't have happened with a monitor this modern. I have a monitor that is 15 years old and has never faded. The power management of the monitor does not work. When switching inputs, the monitor is considered to be off. So if you have multiple monitors all your icons will be moved everywhere because it thinks the monitor isn't there. This also happens during a power-down timeout. when the monitor turns on. All your symbols can move anywhere. Now for price monitors. spend a little more. I know 165Hz sounds tempting since the competition has 144Hz, but just stick with a better 144Hz monitor. You will have few problems.
