Review of the Whatafit Online Store: A Negative Experience with Sturdy Strength Training Equipment

I was eager to test out Whatafit's resistance bands because they were advertised as being strong and able to handle heavy use. But I had a really disappointing experience with the Whatafit internet store. First of all, there were only a few alternatives available for resistance bands, and even those were out of stock when I visited. The lack of information on the Whatafit website about when the products would be back in stock or even if they would be restocked at all upset me. Furthermore, choosing the right resistance level for each band was difficult due to imprecise ordering instructions. I ended up buying a band that was too simple for my level of fitness, making it useless for my workouts. Finally, the resistance bands from Whatafit were of poor quality. Despite its claims of toughness, the bands rapidly began to exhibit indications of deterioration after only a few uses. This was especially disappointing given how expensive the things were. Overall, I had a bad experience with the Whatafit online store and am unable to endorse their goods to other fitness fans. While emphasizing the positive effects of exercise and exposure to nature is a commendable goal, the execution fell short due to a poor product quality, a small selection, and a difficult purchase process.

Pros
  • Resistance bands that can be used for a wide range of exercises.
Cons
  • Ordering process that is difficult
