Cheaply Made and Not Packaged Well.

I bought this double cage for my Sun Conures. When the item arrived I was disappointed in how it came. Even though the boxes were not damaged, the items in the box were. The plastic trays were broken. Some of the perches it came with were broken. Part of one piece of the cage was bent.I was going to return the item, but the company wanted me to pay for the return shipping for both boxes which would have been more then half the cost of what the cage is worth.I decided to keep the cage and asked for them to replace the broken trays, which they did immediately. I didn't ask for new perches, because they are meant for tiny birds like finches, and were useless for my birdsAssembling the cage was a challenge for many reasons. 1) the picture instructions were so tiny, it was almost unreadable. 2) some of the pre-drilled holes were not fully drilled open, but luckily I was able to knock the metal that was blocking out of the way. 3) Part of my cage was bent where the trays go & I had to bend it back in place. After putting it together, I was concerned that my Sun Conures would be able to bend the bars with their beaks because I was able to easily pinch the bars together with my fingers. However, so far, this has not been an issue. All & All this cage is ok, it is cheaply made, but so far it seems to hold up well for my birds. I would suggest getting something more sturdy for large conures, but this can work. This cage seems better suited for finches, parakeets, budgies and cockatiels.Otherwise, the company should consider packaging their trays and perches in a separate box to avoid damage or at least put it in a box before boxing it in with the other cage parts.
