Review on ISpring RCC100P High Capacity 5-Stage Under Sink Water Filter Reverse Osmosis RO Drinking Water Filtration System, 100 GPD, Performance-Boosted by Julpikz Bellemy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy under sink installation for my RCC100P

The unit was easier to install than I expected. I had to drill a hole in the one inch thick granite counter top for the spigot and made a small stand from scrap lumber to make it easier to position and maintain. Other than those two items, it is pretty much plug and play to install and start-up. It did arrive with one of the filters damaged during shipping but that was quickly rectified with a new filter after contacting the manufacturer.I checked the performance with my TDS meter and found that that 97% of the salts (TDS) were sent to the waste stream. The unit produces about 6 gallons per hour due to higher home water pressure and a clean new RO membrane. We are very happy with it so far - you can definitely taste the difference in the water.

Pros
  • Got it hooked up and like it so far. Replaced a 25 yo one that didn't have much water capacity.
Cons
  • Requires professional installation

Installed this in San Diego, which has ridiculously hard tap water; outstanding improvement in water taste and quality over Brita/similar manual filters. Auxiliary pump adds enough pressure to fill my glass very quickly. I bought this particular unit because I installed one in another house about 11 years ago and have been really happy with it - consistently superb quality water and I''ve rarely needed to change the filters even with high usage. Highly recommended.
