Review on Marshall Tufton: Black Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Unmatched Sound Quality & Portability by Ada Samoraj ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

Three-way acoustics, the instructions say the following about the speakers: Woofer 5.25" (13cm) 2 midrange speakers 2" Twitter 16mm One of the mid-range speakers is located on the back wall, so the acoustics work in almost all directions. It sounds really loud, the volume is not inferior to the main competitor JBL Boombox. When I tried in a room of 20 sq. M. unscrew the volume to the fullest, I was afraid that the glass would fly out. At the same time, it sounds noticeably better than a boombox - the bass is denser, and in general the sound is softer and more pleasant, there is no such cutting ear of the upper middle as in JBL. Instrumental music sounds simply gorgeous, Marshall justifies its reputation here. The size is significantly smaller than the boombox, it is also lighter in weight. Easily fits into my sports bag, and not the largest; Fits even in a not very large backpack. With JBL, this did not work out in any way. If connected with a cable, then in the absence of a signal, it “falls asleep” very quickly. When it appears, it wakes up, but with some delay, about a second. By the way, JBL has the same thing. Autonomy is excellent, at least not worse than a boombox. In a clearing outside the city, I played for 4 hours at full volume, and about half the charge remained. At medium volume, it will probably last about 20 hours. In general, the acoustics lived up to expectations. My opinion is this: if you need high-quality acoustics for a hall or small open areas, while being as light, mobile and compact as possible, Tufton is probably the best option at the moment.

Pros
  • It sounds loud and high quality - powerful bass, fairly clear mids-highs at almost any volume. Dimensions and weight are small for such volume. Volume and bass-treble controls. Battery charge indicator. Excellent build quality overall. Aptx support. Long battery life.
Cons
  • For me, this is not a drawback, but still I will write - there is no playback control. That is, there is no Stop / Play button and back and forth. There is no full water protection, only splash protection. Very high price, took for 31000r.
