I like how easy it makes things look in terms of organization and ease of use.

The fact that you can connect to other systems without having to go through an intermediary such as ODBC is very useful when dealing with large datasets from many different sources (such as MySQL). For example, if your database has millions of records stored within hundreds of tables then using SQL queries becomes difficult because they are not able to process so quickly due to the sheer number of rows being read. However, by connecting these databases via snowflakes API we were able to create new views which allowed us more control over what information was needed at any given time rather than relying only upon predefined SQL statements.
