Review on Lilac Logitech G203 Prodigy Wired Gaming Mouse with RGB, Lightweight Design, 6 Programmable Buttons, 8,000 DPI, On-Board Memory, for PC and Mac by Minoru Izaki ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

Previously, I used the A4tech X7-738K mouse for 3 years, I decided to buy a new one at some point. I was worried that it would take a long time to get used to the new shape, but it turned out not, I got used to the new mouse instantly, although the previous mouse had a non-standard shape. I set the same DPI and everything sits in my hand like a glove. In games (CS go) it is a pleasure to use, there are much more headshots, if earlier I sometimes just randomly shot in a certain direction, and naturally didn’t hit, now when shooting at random I surprise myself by hitting the headshot. The thought “What, it was possible like that?” Appears, and it certainly pleases =) There is one minus - I tried to do manual calibration for my pad (a function in additional software), after calibration the separation height became too small, in the end it was enough to slightly raise the mouse (1 or less mm) and contact with the surface was lost, it was inconvenient for me . But the problem was solved in 5 seconds, I just switched to the standard rug in the software and everything is fine (by default there are 3 standard profiles for different rugs - by default, hard, textile). And overall great.

Pros
  • An excellent sensor (when switching from a cheap mouse, you immediately feel it), fast response (compared to the X7-738K, where 1000Hz is also indicated, but in fact, apparently, it is not there) nice plastic on the buttons. Very cool setup software, everything that is possible is present, backlight control (you can completely or partially turn it off), settings profiles that automatically turn on when you start different games, blink synchronization with other Logitech devices, even mouse calibration for your mouse pad.
Cons
  • Sometimes the side buttons rattle (if you sharply slide your finger down on them). Manual calibration of the surface for my rug made it worse than the standard one, most likely it's in my rug, with the standard calibration everything works perfectly. A heavy wire that pulls the mouse down, I solved this problem by attaching a wire to the table lamp with a standard soft tie that comes with it, now it feels like wireless, nothing interferes.
