Review on Soundbar Sony HT-CT290/HT-CT291 by Fery Buana ᠌

It was a bad idea to buy this, money wasted.

I will give it back. The result of the purchase is disappointment and a waste of time on a future trip to return this G back to the store. It’s a pity they don’t have CT80 in stock, they would have exchanged it and almost half of the money would have remained. Before buying, I searched the Internet for information on what is better to take from these two models, but there were no answers.

Pros
  • nothing
Cons
  • Connected through the optics to the TV. When watching TV programs, the sound is slightly better than the dummy of the TV itself. The sub does not seem to work . I checked it - it still works, but like a dead one . (the TV is also Sony). When starting the PS4, the sub works fine, but still worse than the CT80 model, which is 50% cheaper and has a declared power of 80W, and this one says 300W! The CT80 also worked great when watching TV. There was no difference. But after 2 years of operation, the motherboard burned out (apparently Sony's illness), and the authorized service center could not repair it because there are no spare parts))) Also, ST80 from the remote control switched to bluetooth mode, and for this model you need to get up, come up and press your finger on the sensor))) I also thought, maybe when connected via HDMI, the arc will sound normal when watching TV, but . everything is the same - the sub is 95% dead. ps: CT80 material is better than this G .
