I'm going to be totally honest here, I have no idea if this helped or not, which probably means it did help. I have a 7 year old cat at home, she's been the only cat in my life since she was a baby, I recently decided to add 2 little boys to my home and she was not having it. I felt so horrible, but that aside, I could tell she was just a nervous wreck, her eyes were like saucers, she was hiding, wouldn't even let me pet her for at least a week. So I knew Feliway existed, but I didn't know if it was enough. So I got a Feliway brand multicat plug-in as well as this one. Feliway is in her "cat room" and this brand is in everyone's shared space. She actively went up to it and sniffed it and put her face on it when I first plugged it in and if I sit and think about it, she really did start to calm down quite a bit. It has been a couple of weeks now and she's turned into the residential groomer and kitten watcher :) Like I said I really have no idea if this is what helped, she could have just gotten used to them on her own, but surely these plug ins must have helped at least with calming her nerves, and when everyone is in the shared space(which is also where I am most of the time, this is how I notice of course) everyone is happy and comfortable and playing and just being crazy or maybe just sleeping!
