Review on Smart Column Yandex New Station Mini - smart column with Alice (with watch), black onyx by Kiril Gentschev ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

A useless product, its not worth the money.

In general, out of the new Mini Station's four game-changing features, one did not materialize (sound), one functions only minimally (in tandem with the Module, which lacks Airplay, Chromecast, and Bluetooth), and one does not function at all (Bluetooth is now uncommon in products because it was not mandated by antitrust laws). - I was unable to test one (with output to 3.5 mm external speakers). Simple inferences can be drawn. More money is spent on marketing than on a true product in the technical component, therefore a raw product costs more than more functional ogues. Because of the cost of board components and software support, Alice is no longer a game-changing feature and could even be incorporated into an iron at this point. Upgrade your JBL Link Music. They cost the same, have sound quality that is more than twice as good (the psychological threshold of adequate for the majority has been crossed), and support Bluetooth. They are also a little flaky; to view YouTube, you must wait for the September updates, which appear to come via Wi-Fi Mini station, if only in the kitchen (if Bluetooth worked). Additionally, Bluetooth adapters that transform wired speakers into demons are sufficient and much less expensive. If all devices lack the Airplay ecosystem, Chromecast and Bluetooth dancing transform their electronics into things in themselves, which lag far behind Google Home and Apple Home in terms of entertainment capabilities. There is also room to construct a smart home. Only the voice istant has so far triumphed. However, that is a whole different story. I'll hold out for the Matter and Zegbee-equipped second generation station. To add any more items to their brand at this time would be absurd.

Pros
  • Amazing packing. The digital package and box are amazing, much like many other things. Concerning the actual product, there are several uncertainties.
Cons
  • Despite urances in YoY and blogger advertising, the new Mini Station seems great. Chinese radio is worst for 500 with Ali. Where else can you use motions to regulate the volume in such a mindless and ruthless way? Perhaps it has improved since the original iteration. Bluetooth was inoperative. The operation is stopped when you attempt to start because the Alice sensor in the center blinks four times.
