The original bose and my first set of replacements lasted about a year each (I'm hard on headphones.)I bought a pair of the sheepskin version as well this time around and while they do seem nice, at least as nice as the standard version I don't know if they are 50% better (as the price is 50% more) I thought they would be a little more durable being leather and sewn but actually only the piece that rests against your head is sheepskin the inner and outer side panels are the same pleather as the standard cushions, and being sewn, will it just tear out of that material? time will tell.

Pros
  • Easy to install, nearly identical to original, very comfortable
Cons
  • The cushions may be difficult to install onto the headphones
