Review on Educational Insights Design & Drill My First Workbench, Drill Toy, STEM & Construction, 125 Pieces, Ages 3+ by Kari Madison

Great Toy to tech patterns, fine motor skills and how tools work!

This toy has kept both my 3 and 4 year old busy for at least an hour each day since we opened it up. The workbench itself is able to hold all of the 60 bolts, 60 nails, hammer and drill in itself - I love that I do not have to have anything else to hold any of the items for this set!The workbench is well made and sturdy, my four year old sat on it and was leaning on it and it hardly moved or flexed. The drill is easy to use and teaching children about how a drill works by going clockwise and counter clockwise to tighten or loosen the bolt is pretty awesome. I do wish it included a screw driver as the inside of the bolts look as though it could have a screwdriver fit in it.I found this is great for hands on learning, developing those fine motor skills and critical thinking when it came to re-creating the patterns in the pattern book. I will say my four year old was not happy about combining the bolts with the nails to create the pattern as they were not the same but hopefully this will help him get past that. This is designed for ages 3-6 and have no doubt that a two year old would have fun with this as well. My 3 year old had no questions about how anything worked and she took charge and used trial and error to figure it out herself - everything was trial and error and she had the best time figuring it out. Please checkout my video of my 3 and 4 year old playing as you can see two children working side by side playing on their own terms. You will need 3 AAA Batteries.Overall Grade - A+
