It would be a good GPS if I could get a new one that works all the functions, No open box that looks serviceable, The first GPS I have, The badge on the GPS would say that They are supposed to turn around after you've already passed the corner, plus this block wouldn't tell you a corner is coming until you get there, in this case after you've passed it a bit, the second block I got was still an open box and just missing the small plastic sign, this worked fine, all turn-by-turn notifications appeared before the turn and in the turns, also it was my exact location, a quick change of itinerary, but then I found the backlight was on adjusted to this GPS screen did not work. To use it in night mode, make it bright. When you get to the main menu screen you can turn the brightness down, but you'll have to close your journey to get there and then re-enter your journey. But if you can get a NEW one that works well, for the money it's not bad truck/van GPS, but it's a bit tricky to figure out how to use at first. You really have to go through the menu to find something so it's not that user friendly I'll try again so I ordered another one to see if I can get a NEW one that is fully functional. I would give it more stars if I get a new device that is fully functional. UPDATE: Well, I just got the third one the other day. This device appears to be open again. The backlight still doesn't work on the GPS screen but this now tells you the name of the streets to turn on, it's new. Backlight problem and everything else works, I'll give it a try, for the price I can live with a backlight to start my journey.
