Review on Logitech M590 Multi-Device Silent Mouse by Vinay Kumar ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied, the product fully corresponds to the description.

Not a bad mouse, but given the not the smallest cost, it could be better. First about the pros. The mouse is really quiet. For me, she fulfilled the main goal with this: I often work while my wife is sleeping, A4Tech X7 is ideal, of course, but too loud. The main buttons, scrolling and pressing the wheel are almost inaudible! True, I did not immediately get used to the short and too easy travel of the main buttons: they themselves were pressed under the weight of the fingers. Also, when you press one of the buttons, sometimes the second one is pressed due to a tiny contraction of the muscles of the hand. I had to stop using other mice (especially A4Tech X7 - you need to press very confidently there), then I got used to it and now there are almost no accidental clicks. But I would like the buttons "harder" anyway. The buttons on the side (back and forth), as well as the button for switching between devices, are not quiet, they are ordinary, they click quite loudly, like on ordinary mice. If you are making a silent mouse, then make all the buttons the same. The wheel tilts to the sides - it's good, not very quiet though. The scrolling itself is not very confident: it backlashes, as if it will fall off soon - not very high quality. Also, after three months of use, it loosened up a little more for me: it began to make sounds when scrolling - something between crackling and creaking. Wheel "dvoechku", in general. I am pleased with the switch between the two devices: it happens very quickly, without any problems after three months of use. For a month I used a mac and a windows laptop at the same time, switching - everything is fine! Both devices are bluetooth. On a stationary PC, there is sometimes a problem with the stability of the bluetooth connection. The system unit is under the table, the bluetooth-usb-whistle is inserted at the back. The distance is small, but, apparently, some kind of interference: the cursor movement sometimes becomes intermittent. It concerns the bluetooth connection (I don’t want to use a radio transmitter: it takes up one more port). At the same time, no problems were found on the laptop even at a distance of 2 meters.

On Linux, it's just a good mouse, without the feature that the manufacturer put in

the best and most beloved of mice, suitable for both gaming and simple surfing. I love logic since childhood
