Review on Nintendo Switch Pro Controller gamepad, black by Ojasvi Sharma ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not a bad purchase, worth the money.

I owned an Xbox one controller on a PC for 4 years and it was ok, but I wanted a gyroscope for aiming actions, because. during this time, he never learned to aim with sticks, some kind of perversion. And here the controller is already mentally and physically tired, the right stick is out of balance from the center and all that. I waited for information about the release of new consoles, looked at what controllers were offered with them, spat, and decided to make a knight's move by buying a controller from Nintendo, which has everything I need from new technologies. And this is an amazing purchase, expensive, but worth all the. A couple of weeks later I tried to take the xbox controller off the shelf again and was sooooo very surprised how I used it at all, the buttons are small, the body is smooth and not quite ergonomic, relative to the pro controller. On a PC with win10, everything started right away, you only need to check the enable checkbox in the Steam settings, it works perfectly. I don’t have a Switch console and I don’t plan to in the near future, so see other reviews on working with a controller with a console. There are no problems with PC. Modification of the crosspiece: disassemble to the crosspiece board, stick 4 layers of adhesive tape ~ 5x5mm in size on the board under the central post of the crosspiece (there will still be a round mark). The crosspiece works almost perfectly.

Pros
  • Grip is more comfortable than xbox one controller The abxy buttons protrude above the case and are a good size, thumb like native Good quality sticks Battery for real 40 hours, passed 80% of the game Zelda Wind Waker on a single charge Works great with steam, anything can be reassigned Connects to the computer instantly, the reception is excellent (external bluetooth adapter DEXP) Strong quality assembly, coped with several complete disassemblies, assembled in one piece The severity and beauty of the design is impressive (black standard version), it seems like a simple control panel, but it looks amazing in the interior of the apartment The presence of a gyroscope
Cons
  • Small off button The cross, as everyone rightly says, is very picky about the accuracy of pressing, but this is completely fixable (see comment) Japanese (reverse European) abxy layout, the buttons of which cannot be physically swapped by disassembling the controller, their mounting shape inside is different, as a result, A is B, and B is A, also with XY
