So pretty! These look really nice, and are a much more elegant design than your typical ear hooks.I have not had the heart to try and stress test these; they are just too pretty to sacrifice to science. That being said, they feel sturdy and don't leave the impression that they are cheap and need to be tested to failure.These are a nice bright silver. It's sometimes hard to know what you are getting when ordering online, so if you are wondering if these will match the earrings your are making or repairing, these are very close to the color of freshly buffed sterling silver. They actually hang at a very similar height to a normal ear hook. This is not a bad thing, as a normal hook hangs at a good height. The added benefit to these is that they should stay in your ear much better than a normal ear hook since the wire points straight down.Conclusion: This is a great set of hooks. I'm quite pleased with how my earrings are turning out with these. They are so beautiful that I have been very selective about which earrings I attach them to. See the image for an example.
