Review on 2019 LG B9 Series 55-inch OLED55B9PUA 4K Ultra HD Smart OLED TV by Kasem Thongnoi ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Everything is fine, I liked the product, I bought it for a reason.

With its pros. Quality / price ratio (bought for 90k). I was amazed to see that Samsung sells its 55 "120 hertz LCD "kuledas" from 77k. Rhetorical question: are there many people who deliberately did not pay extra 15% for an oled and rationally chose a LCD from Samsung for the sake of brightness (or something else), or the majority of them are still victims of store consultants? Its cons: OLED is never a dream technology, it is better than LCD, but with its drawbacks. The most radical, probably, minus: as the brightness of the diodes decreases, the number of available color gradations and their accuracy decrease. That is, on light and medium tones, the gradients are good, but on near-black some game, I knew in advance and seemed to be ready, but I underestimated the visibility of the problem when viewed in the dark. Fortunately (or not), many films are made in such a way that everything is cut to zero near zero. The second global minus: you can’t use a monitor for working on a PC, static interface elements will burn out, except that you regularly move the taskbar and windows around the screen, but I’m not ready for this :) I already have one burnt-out old screen, I don’t want a second one. It's about technology. And about my copy of the thing - this thing, alas, is not for perfectionists. Glass on the screen with a wave on the right side (does not affect viewing in any way, it can be seen at an acute angle), flash on the plastic, the power board beeps in standby, interferes with sleep :( webOS below any criticism, eg. the audio track in the built-in player is always selected according to the system interface language, if you want the interface and sound in different languages, switch every time in a dozen clicks. The equalizer for the built-in speakers either almost does not work, or does not work for certain sources, only the AI sound on / off setting really affects the sound, behind which clear voice + surround simulation is hidden. This is not to say that the subject is bad, others are not better, this is the mass electronics market as a whole. Just a statement of observations. This is a thing for a solid four, but for my money it can be for a five.

Its pros: The best picture I've seen. Got cons: It looks fragile, it's scary to breathe next to it.
