Review on Nokian Tires Nordman 7 205/55 R16 94T winter by Jnis Zari ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am amazed at how well made the product is, just magical!

To replace the worn out ones on my Kama, I opted for a set of tires that wouldn't set me back more than $2500. But while I was deciding, I saw that Nokian was offering "free tire fitting" on this model. When you consider that a new pair of shoes typically costs $1,500, the difference between the new Nordman 7 and budget tires for $2,400–$2,500 (for which such ads are not made) becomes very little. The first consideration is this. A good performance on the driving exam is the second. Someone else can doubt these magazines all they want, but if I had to choose between the old magazine and an unknown Internet commenter, I'd trust the magazine. ZR praised Nordman as a versatile tire suitable for both snow and paved surfaces. When it comes to asphalt, I've always wondered if spikes or Velcro would be preferable. Not here in this weather. There are times when I want to get away from the city, yet the roads on the outskirts aren't always or even regularly swept. According to the statistics, about three-quarters of Finnish drivers choose for spikes throughout the winter. I haven't put a lot of miles on the car yet, so the tires are still breaking in. I don't go any faster than 80 miles per hour, and I try to make my accelerations and decelerations as smooth as possible. Nonetheless, we were able to put it through its paces in a variety of settings, such as a snowy city, a dry city, a snowy highway, a fully white road in gardens, a steep slope, and a steep downhill in the snow. There were no issues, and it did not end up anyplace, and the ABS is completely silent. The engine is noisier, so I didn't hear much. If you leave the windows open, you might be able to hear it, but because I don't smoke indoors, I find that the ceiling fan provides adequate wintertime ventilation. A few thoughts concerning the puncture repair service that was advertised: they delivered. I arrived, bought the tires, and headed for a free parking lot. The entire old winter set was washed in a special machine (together with them, on disks), and then removed; the summer set was washed in the same way. The summer spikes were bagged up, and the old ones were recycled. It only took around 15 minutes to finish everything. Great. Overall, I'm really impressed, and if anything else is revealed, I'll be sure to include it.

Pros
  • Ratio of price to quality is satisfactory. Functions as intended.
Cons
  • Observed zero issues
