Review on Smart bracelet HONOR Band 5, black by Kio Vazquez ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The purchase did not bring joy, the product is bad.

I have an inexpensive smart watch, for about the same money, I won’t name the model so that they don’t consider it an advertisement - heaven and earth! The same full water resistance, but a large round IPS screen, accurately measures heart rate and steps, much more customized settings (well, maybe there are not so many interchangeable dials), A bunch of training modes, route tracks, weather, sleep, receiving calls / messages, full control music on a smartphone - in general, the same functionality, but on a BIG screen. My watch's battery lasts almost a month, MONTH, Karl! Although the screen is much larger and brighter, and I set myself a 10 second wait for the screen. I bought it before NG myself, I charged it only 1 time)) Awesome magnetic contactless charging! Yes, there is no measurement of saturation - but in honor this function is purely for show, but in fact it is godlessly lying, so do not fall for this bun.

Pros
  • Nothing special, after a bunch of laudatory reviews I expected much more. The only plus is a bunch of interchangeable screens. If I had the opportunity to play at least a little before buying, I definitely would not buy it.
Cons
  • The screen is really small. I took my mother as a gift, it’s good that she has good eyesight, but it’s hard for me to see such small numbers. When I gave it to her right away, I set everything up from a smartphone, they immediately measured the saturation (oxygen level) - and so - it measures DIKO incorrectly - then 93% (immediately scares) and then 97% (I compared it specifically with the measurements of a certified pulse oximeter - it shows a stable norm - 99%) and this was one of the main incentives to buy (my mother recently had covid) - because. for example, Xiaomi's latest competitor bracelet does not have such a function. According to the pulse, he also lies by 15-20% (compared with the readings of the same pulse oximeter). Another drawback - the screen goes blank almost immediately. In the menu, I did not find the function to set the screen timeout to at least 7-10 seconds. I don’t know how with steps and sleep phases, mom definitely doesn’t need training. The charge holds little, 4 days according to my mother, charging is inconvenient, you still have to get into the terminals with a little effort even. When getting it out of the box, it didn’t even turn on - it was discharged to zero - then I already read it in the instructions, it’s written there - first charge it. Those. that's normal, yes, a person gets a gift - presses a button - dadadadadamsss - and nothing, a black screen. Wow what a wise marketing ploy.
