Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Razer Huntsman V2 Analog Gaming Keyboard in Black by Micha Skolimowski แ Œ

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I'm satisfied with it, there are only some small flaws.

Moved from a 10 year old raiser keyboard. And for 10 years of interesting things, in the current flagship, only the optical mechanism of the keys. Two things would make this keyboard so much better: 1. WRGB 2. Cyrillic with backlight Additionally. 3. The wheel on the Analog is different from other models in the Huntsman line. There it is flat, but here it is convex. Why so, I do not understand. And it would be possible to make it flat here and build a fingerprint scanner. Would make it easier to sign in with Windows Hello integration. It is worth noting that it is still difficult to find something better among gaming keyboards. Closest competitor to ASUS. But the pain is the same.

Pros
  • - Qualitatively assembled - All keys (except space) have a pleasant response - Pressing force - working history, checked in forza. Copies the behavior of the controller (but the controller is still better for racing). - The brush holder is comfortable. - There is usb3 - you can connect a mouse or an antenna for a wireless mouse. - Pleasant volume wheel and, in general, convenient function keys.
Cons
  • - Space - clicks loudly and not pleasantly. Under it, a separate wide switch suggests itself, which would be specially designed for the spacebar with a key stroke that would not touch the body. It seems to me that such a sound is due to the fact that the spacebar hits the metal case of the keyboard with its entire area. - Backlight - it's not WRGB, but just RGB. I need a white backlight for typing, but here it goes into pink and is not uniform. One key is lighter, the other is generally dark when set to white (255/255/255). - The Cyrillic alphabet is applied with paint. For highlighting, you need to look somewhere for keycaps with a pre-cut Cyrillic alphabet. -No fingerprint scanner. it's about time. - According to Synapse - there have been no problems with work yet, but it is not intuitive at all. You have to google something all the time to understand how this or that function works.
