Review on King Size Smart Water Heated Mattress Pad - Radiation-Free, Comfortable Hydro Power Bed Warmer For Sleep Enhancement & Parents! by Luis Estrella

Ineffective For Desired Purpose

There is so much to dislike about this mattress. The first glaring issue is the clearly fake reviews that exist on this product-- one is from a 'reviewer' allegedly from the United States that shared photos of a bed display clearly from outside the country (evidence: non-US wall outlet observed).Anyway, poor business practices aside, to the product itself. This product is rigid. And by that I mean it feels like what you would feel if you had a small tent air mattress when you're camping. It's not a pleasant feel when you're trying to sleep. If you move, you will feel the 'plasticky' rigid mat bending with you. Even if you put a thick pad between it and you, you will still feel it. Also, you will lose whatever plushness you are accustomed to when you are on your bed. For some I suppose that might be okay, but for me I enjoy sleeping on a cloud. That ended when I got this thing.Onto the actual point of even having this thing: heating. Does this heat? It does. at least, for the first couple of days. About a week in, it doesn't really do anything that I can feel unless I have it at max setting, to which at that point it is uncomfortably hot. Oh, and the consistency. No. I would set it at 95 degrees fahrenheit, for instance, as I did the night prior to writing this review. I wake up and it is showing 86 degrees-- nowhere close to my set temperature. No, not a timer, not an auto adjustment-- it just didn't work. But the curious thing is that I then proceeded to touch the pad directly to feel how warm they actually felt. To my surprise, nothing. No heat. The device most certainly was on, and the main unit was making its 'gurgling' noises indicating that it was active. But yet, it didn't seem to be working.Lastly, about the main unit. I have to say about this product is the main unit is attractive. It looks nice aesthetically, even though the cord is way too short and so I have it sitting on the floor rather than on a nightstand (but to be fair, it's so large that I wouldn't even want it on a nightstand to begin with). The unit is so inefficient, though. I only had it for a week and had to refill it three times to max fill because the water keeps evaporating out.Bottom line: This product doesn't do what it is supposed to do. It doesn't feel good on the bed. It does not warm you consistently, if at all. If you buy this, you will be let down.

Pros
  • Radiation-free safety - Unlike electric blankets, which emit electromagnetic radiation, this hydro-powered bed warmer uses water to regulate temperature, reducing exposure to harmful electromagnetic fields and promoting healthy sleeping habits
Cons
  • Potential leakage
