Review on Enhance Your Productivity with VIVO Single Laptop Notebook Desk Mount Stand - Ultimate Adjustable Extension C Clamp (STAND-V001L) by Emili Hudson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Used as a swivel bedside table. The table tray is exactly at zero degrees.

Despite conflicting suggestions that the tablet lay flat or didn't lay flat at zero degrees. I can confirm it lays flat. If you twist or rotate the mechanism that holds the tray 180 degrees to the side there is a screw that prevents it from really lying flat, rotate it the other way and there is no screw so that it really lays flat lies smooth. It doesn't matter which side is facing up, because the swivel arm can be mounted on either side. Since we use the tray to store things like remote controls and water glasses, it would be nice if it were flat. I also installed the tray upside down so there is now some sort of railing on three sides to keep things from sliding off. Since we don't need cord organizers, I threw everything away. It is attached to an electric bed, as in hospitals. I managed to make it barely fit/fit on the part of the frame that goes up and down but doesn't tilt. It works like a TV tablet, but barely. If the mounting bar was another 3 inches higher, that would be perfect. As now, she doesn't leave enough room to turn the bed without kicking someone's feet. Still good just on the side and I tied the bar to the frame to make sure it wouldn't tip over or slide, swings right out of the room so it doesn't hit the bed rails when folded up. Can't put anything down too heavy as the tray has no locking mechanism. The device is very strong, well built and somewhat heavy. Beautiful powder black finish. Comes with everything you need for assembly including the Phillips head screwdriver you need to attach the tray to the bracket hands All the parts are well tightened I had no problems with the swingarm slipping off.

Pros
  • Good performance
Cons
  • Generally fine, but...
