Handy little grease gun for small jobs like bikes

I really like this little grease gun for bike jobs. It saves a lot of money compared to buying expensive bike lube in disposable applicator bottles. I use Castrol NGLI-2 Lithium Wheel Bearing Grease, which I buy at my local auto shop for about $5 a quart. This is a very high quality lube and a lot more economical than the lube you can buy in a tube. Filling this grease gun is easy and uncomplicated. Use a clean applicator, e.g. B. a disposable plastic spoon to avoid contamination of the grease container. The process is as simple as unscrewing the base and adding grease inside after squeezing the small lower pushrod seal that moves up and down under the grease. Screw the base back on and push the bottom gasket through the keyhole in the base to force out excess air. To do this, you can use a screwdriver or a small rod. Start the pump by simply pulling the trigger several times while depressing the bottom seal to release any remaining air until the grease flows with the pump, without depressing the bottom with a screwdriver or rod on the trigger. fat comes out. out of the nozzle orifice in a very small, easily controllable stream. I bet you can find different attachments for this tool if you want to change the flow rate, but the one that comes with this grease gun is just perfect for my bike purposes. It takes about 5-6 pumps to fill a storage lane on a bike - that's true. There is very little waste or clutter as you can place it exactly where you want without having to over use. Advantages: * Reusable, refillable, any type of bulk grease can be used. * Easy to fill. * Doesn't leak everywhere. * Accurate and well suited for small precision lubrication work. *Small size fits in your tool box so it's right there when you need it instead of hanging somewhere on a shelf or on the back wall of your store. Cons: * Pretty expensive for such a small tool, sometimes depending on who has it. * Available and unavailable and hard to find - even here on Revain. Maybe that's why it's sometimes expensive. I have never seen this brand in a retail store or LBS. If you find it, grab it!
