- See picture, Olympus 4 is 12cm wide and Torin 5 is 10cm wide - Both shoes are men's US 9. - Both shoes are the same length. For reference, I have a 10.5 inch foot, have a bunion and wear a splinter on my big toe. The Olympus 4 fits comfortably, but the Torin 5 is too narrow. The sole of the Olympus 4 is wider and my feet are completely in the sole, while the Torin 5 has a thinner sole and my pinky toe doesn't rest on the sole. Also, my little finger is pressed against the ring finger. Therefore, the toe swing is not as natural as the Olympus 4. The Olympus 4 has more cushioning than the Torin 5. The wider base of the Olympus 4 makes it more stable than the Torin 5. BUT: - Don't buy the Olympus 4 if you are planning To wear it on tile, city, street, drainage floor when the floor is wet or damp. I almost fell into the Olympus 4 several times while working in a clinic. The sole of the Olympus 4 is very slippery on wet tiles. So I wanted to try the Torin 5 times with a different sole.
