Review on NETUM Shipping Printer Thermal Compatible by Rich Ferguson

This is probably not what you are looking for.

I spent over an hour getting this thing up and running. . . . This is just terrible. I have Windows 10. #1. The brochure that comes with this machine is written in very poor English. #2. There is no information about installing the printer. This is NOT "plug and play". I had to go online. . . and find the driver to download.#3. One day I downloaded the driver and was finally able to install the printer. . . Everything is in METRIC and I don't see a way to change that. #4. I have 2 x 1 labels. Since it's over 1.49 inches, they should work. . . . but i tried. . . and tried. . . and tries. . . and can't get them to print properly.#5. I can get 4X6 labels to work. . . But. . . The print quality is "cloudy" and not very good. I have another 4X6 printer and have used both to print the same thing. The other printer prints fine. . .but not this one.#6. When I use Word to print something to my "other printer". . . No matter if I change the caption to "portrait" or "landscape", the printer driver knows about it and prints correctly. Not so with this NETUM printer. You have to go in and switch manually every time.#7. You also need to purchase the "Label Holder" separately. This is not necessary if you use continuous labels. . . but. . . Fan-fold labels are not common in the US. Label rolls are used, which means you must use a "label holder". #eight. The footprint of the printer and label holder is more than twice that of other 4X6 printers where the roll fits into the printer. If you only use it for 4X6 labels. . . . then. . . you could make it work. But there are other options like Brother and Zebra which are smaller and fit rolls in the printer and work much better. They also provide you with label printing software. . . and some also integrate with Microsoft Office and other software. This NETUM printer is made in China and distributed by the Chinese company Revain.
