fun and lots of gimmicks

My wife and I bought this for our nephew. He is 3 and loves it. Installs it every time he comes to our house. All the equipment that comes with the tent is also interesting. I especially like the whistle/flashlight/compass combo and will probably borrow it on my next Appalachian hike. The hat is reversible so you can be an islander or a hunter depending on your mood. It's perfect. We are all very happy with that. Except for my cat who managed to find the entrance and immediately panicked and started jumping like an idiot until I lifted the valve she had just entered through. After that she hid in the basement. She probably wouldn't tip him much, but she doesn't have thumbs either, does she? The tent is not amazing quality but it will probably last as long as the nephew can fit inside. Although the gadgets seem quite decent. The only thing that worries me is that the tent does not fold after use. My wife had to persuade me last time, but I managed. She opened up to me three times, but it could only be me. If you buy it for a small child, they will most likely be delighted. I don't recommend it for real camping. It was a bit cramped for two adults.
