Very sturdy cable.Wish it had a clip option to connect to belt loop instead of attaching to belt.The cable is a little shorter than I’d like it to be but it works and only time will tell it the spring keeps working.Well the first one stopped retracting as of today April 4th 2020.I got a little over three months of use out of the first one out of the two pack.Not sure if this is normal but I gotta say I was surprise to see that the cable with rubber coat used had a spot on it in the middle where the cable frayed through the coating and may have led to the reason for failure.I didn’t use a set of keys with it and only used an ID but my ID opens a lot of doors and it’s pulled and retracted a lot five days a week.I ordered a different brand with a Kevlar retracted string instead of a rubber coated metal cable.I’ve owned a cheaper version that used Kevlar and it didn’t cost much and seem to last a little longer than this one.Not saying this one is bad but it didn’t seem to last long term for me.The 2nd one finally broke 1/16/21 so that one lasted longer than the first one out of the two.I ordered another pair of them because it’s a little better than the cheaper versions I seem to have had issues with not lasting.I only have an ID and a single master key attached to this but the retraction is used to open more than a hundred doors a night and this is five days a week.It gets a work out and I’ve yet to see one of these retractable devices last over a year, this one is good
