Review on ๐Ÿ”Š Marantz PM7000N Integrated Stereo Hi-Fi Amplifier with HEOS Built-in | Digital and Analog Source Support | Alexa Compatible | Phono Input by Agata Paula แ Œ

Revainrating 4 out of 5

All is well, liked the product, didn't buy it for nothing.

I will not describe the sound, and the convenience of working with streaming services and mobile devices. Much has been written and reviewed about this. I will expand my opinion on the shortcomings: 1. Cannot be used as a power amplifier or dedicated amplifier for 2-channel stereo "live receiver". At least I was not able to get it to get sound from the pre-amp outputs of the AVR2313 receiver. Therefore, to build yourself a bi-amping from the receiver and this Marantza will not work for you (correct me if I'm wrong) 2. Similarly, this amplifier cannot be used as a head amp for bi-amping purely to music, since the only pre-amp output of this amplifier is to a subwoofer. Bottom line: if your speakers have two terminals for each and you don't plan to change anything, just enjoy the sound. He is good. Attempting to upgrade the system in the future will most likely require significant investments (both acoustics and a more versatile amplifier) Ah yes, the receiver. The receiver becomes unnecessary :) The video goes directly to the TV from the media player (in my case, Apple TV), the sound is transmitted to the amplifier either via Airplay, or is taken from the TV via optics.

Pros
  • sound quality and wide opportunities for network streaming from various sources and services.
Cons
  • dead-end branch of evolution (see below) without the possibility for development and integration into existing systems
