Review on TSLA Lightweight Athletic Barefoot Minimalist Men's Shoes for Athletic by Ryan Rea

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Comfortable, minimalist but not durable

It was my first exposure to minimalist shoes and the only TSLA shoe I could afford. You really have to get used to it, you really feel everything under your feet. Lots of room for toes. These were my favorite shoes last year, they are very easy to put on and very comfortable. However, they didn't hold up well. The upper of the shoe came off at the toes (see photo), first on one foot after about three months, then the other boot came off soon after. Then shortly thereafter the tongue on one of them came off the boot. Overall not very durable but very comfortable.

Pros
  • This is the cheapest, beautiful and minimal, closest to my good quality Merrell in three years.
Cons
  • It feels like walking on cardboard.
