Review on Game console Sony PlayStation 4 Slim 1000 GB HDD, black by Anastazja Chteinman ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The goods are normal, money is not wasted!

Of all the consoles on the market, this one is by far the best (unless you're a fan of Mario games and other Nintendo exclusives). Even though the PS5 is due out soon, in my experience, the launch lineup on it should be sparse, so buying a PS4 is still justified. And we are talking about this version - 500 GB runs out surprisingly quickly, and PS4 Pro will only give an advantage if you have a 4K TV lying around, and then only in a small number of games. There are also applications for watching movies-serials, but not all that we would like. If you already have a productive PC and you play really a lot, then I don’t see any point in taking the console - all the more, it seems that Sony, like Microsoft, has picked up the trend to gradually phase out exclusives - since technically this is already a very old device and the picture in games leaves much to be desired, and the very high cost of games quickly compensates for any difference in cost between PC and console. Well, if you are an unpretentious and "casual" gamer who likes to relax a couple of times a week in the evening while playing, or play exclusively in the company of football or fighting games - feel free to take PS4. It makes no sense to take it exclusively as a "home theater" - it's better to look towards Apple TV.

Pros
  • - Large selection of games, including exclusives - Since this is a platform with a single configuration, unlike the PC, game optimization is often better here (with the amendment that here the norm is 30 frames per second, not 60) - Can also be used to watch videos, movies and series - a BD drive and many applications like Neftlix have this - DualShock 4 is by far the most comfortable controller on the market - Quite an interesting thing Remote Play, allows you to play on the console remotely from your smartphone or tablet
Cons
  • - The farther, the more outdated in technical terms the games look (you can’t look at Red Dead Redemption 2 without tears) - Paid online - Not always intuitive interface (we are talking about the console, and not about the games on it) - I don't know if this is a common problem, but my console was quite noisy - Games are expensive, new and good games are very expensive
