Review on Monroe 901953 Strut Mate Strut Mounting Replacement Parts by Trey Dikici

Monroe part 901953 fitted my 1996 Pontiac Bonneville SSE perfectly. The quality is also excellent. The last ones I hired were still good eight years later. I could have kept them but why risk it when I already had them when I switched frames. The price was about $15.00 lower to get the stand and mount separately rather than together in a "quick stand" package. The only thing to be careful of is not turning the strut shaft while tightening the center nut. This will lock the rack back into "delivery mode" and it will not compress/expand properly upon installation.
